On the 6th of July 2023, it was a remarkable day for 75 students from Stds. III to XII as they awakened to the dawn of a new role. It was a day filled with the formal pledge of loyalty to the values Adhyapana represents, and an occasion to proudly wear the badge of honor.
The ceremony commenced with prayer, setting the proceedings of the event. With a captivating rendition of the School song, the choir inspired all in attendance.
The Chief Guest, Shri Praveen Visesh, and the Guest of Honour, Mrs. Aparnna Praveen, both life trustees of Adhyapana School, graced the occasion.
The march by the School Pupil Leaders, Sports Captains, House Captains, Class Prefects, and all the Class Monitors was spectacular.
Following the oath-taking ceremony and acceptance speeches by the Sports Captain and SPLs, the esteemed guests addressed the gathering with their inspiring and thought-provoking speeches.
The esteemed guest of honor, adept in Psychology and Social Sciences, highlighted the importance of perseverance for future success. Drawing from the life story of a Wimbledon tennis player, she emphasized how perseverance helps to progress even in the face of challenges and setbacks, enabling one to acquire valuable skills along the way.
The Chief Guest, a doyen in financial analysis, while reminiscing about his formative years in his hometown Madurai and the positive upbringing by his parents, emphasized the crucial role of discipline in achieving success for every student.
It was a day filled with invigorating energy, where the promising future of young leaders shining as beacons of a new era was witnessed by the audience.
The event drew to a close with a vote of thanks followed by the national anthem.
