The Interact Club aims to empower our children through community service and leadership development programmes. To fulfill this aim, the Installation Ceremony of the Interact and EarlyAct Club of Adhyapana School, Madurai was held on July 20, 2022, at 2 pm in the AV hall.
The meeting was presided over by the President of the Rotary Club of Madurai West, Rtn. L. Ramanathan.
The ceremony commenced with the school prayer song and was followed by the Rotary Grace. Ram R. Warrier, the incoming Board member of the Interact club, welcomed the gathering.
The Annual Report was presented by Vainavi Ananya (President-Interact Club 2021–2022).
The Chief Guest, Rtn. Ramanathan, along with Special Guests of Honor DGN Rtn. Raja Govindasamy, Rtn. PonKumar and Rtn. Manohari – Interact Coordinator from Rotary installed Interact Club President Master Kevin Danny and EarlyAct Club President M.Sai Vatshan with their respective teams and felicitated them too.
The ceremony’s highlights included the donation of notebooks and volleyball equipment to Kulamangalam Govt School by the Interact Club and the gift of toys to Neyam School students by the EarlyAct Club.
The Interact club’s tree-planting drive at Kulamangalam Govt School is one of its noteworthy projects.
The distinguished Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Madurai West, Rtn. Prabhakar, Rtn. Saravanakumar, Rtn. Selvamani, Rtn. Sivaraman, and Rtn. Raja were present and addressed the audience as well.
Felicitations were done by Mrs. Rincy Jose (Principal), Mrs. Yamini Visalachi (Senior Headmistress), Mrs. Sinu Danny (Interact Coordinator) and Mr. Vincent (EarlyAct Coordinator).
In a speech that was packed with inspiration, the new team was congratulated by our Senior Principal and Correspondent, Mrs. Aruna M Visvessvar, and Dean of Academics Shri Visesh Aiyer.
The ceremony culminated with a vote of thanks by Maria Jose (Secretary of the new team).
