The Jal Prahari Samman Samaroh 2023 conferred Mrs. Aruna M Visvessvar as a Water Savior on March 29 in New Delhi.
The Award and Certificate were received by Senior Principal and Correspondent, Mrs. Aruna M Visvessvar and Shri. Visesh Aiyer, Dean of Academics along with HOD of English, Mr. Beschi Floret, and student representative Bhoopesh Balaji, in the presence of Union Minister for Jal Shakti, Shri. Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
This prestigious award is given to people and organisations that adopt a holistic approach to water resources management in the country. The Ministry of Jal Shakti, Department of Water Resources, River Development, and Ganga Rejuvenation felicitated 50 water conservationists out of more than 400 applicants for their efforts.
It is a matter of pride to mention that Adhyapana is the only school from Tamilnadu that has been selected to represent as a water warrior and receive this proud honor.
