Adhyapana School, CBSE, celebrated Children’s Day on 14th November 2024 with great enthusiasm. Teachers took over the assembly, stepping into the shoes of the students.
Shri Visesh Aiyer, Dean of Academics, kicked off the day with a captivating real-life story about the invention of paneer, leaving the young audience intrigued. Mrs. Muthumala, our esteemed Principal, enlightened the students about the historical significance of Children’s Day. Sr. Coordinator Arputha Rajam wove a tapestry of words, inspiring young minds with a beautiful poem.
The teachers, in a burst of creativity, took centre stage. A heartwarming poem, a melodious song, a moral skit, a stylish catwalk, a fun-filled guess the teacher quiz, and a side-splitting P.E. skit kept the students entertained. Even the dynamic Headmistress, Mrs. S. Chitra, along with Dance master Mr. Maariselvam, P.E. Teacher Mr. Murali, and English Teacher Mr. Hariharan, joined in the fun with a vibrant dance performance. Finally, a a hilarious lazy dance by gentlemen teachers concluded the event on a high note.
To conclude the joyous occasion, Mrs. Aruna M Visvessvar, our Senior Principal and Correspondent, addressed the gathering with heartfelt Children’s Day wishes. As a token of appreciation, Mr. Ganesan, a parent of our school, treated all students to Lotte Choco Pie.
This Children’s Day celebration was a testament to the school’s commitment to fostering a joyful and enriching learning environment.
