Adhyapana School (CBSE) Celebrates International Day of Yoga 2025!

International Day of Yoga held at Adhyapana School (CBSE) on June 21st, 2025 was a vibrant success. The day was filled with inspiring demonstrations, insightful sessions, and enthusiastic participation from our school community, truly embodying the spirit of well-being and harmony.

A special assembly, with yoga as its theme, kicked off the celebration, presented by our Grade 10 students. Following this, a captivating display of rhythmic yoga was showcased by our talented Grades 4 and 5 students. Their synchronized movements through Surya Namaskaram (Sun Salutations), Chandra Namaskaram (Moon Salutations), and various individual asanas showcased remarkable discipline and grace, setting an inspiring tone for the day.

Our creative Grades 6 and 9 students presented an innovative yoga rhythmic dance. This performance beautifully blended traditional yoga postures with contemporary rhythmic elements, demonstrating the versatility and artistic depth that can be found within the practice of yoga.

An insightful speech on the profound importance of mindfulness in daily living, emphasizing its role in enhancing focus and emotional resilience, was delivered by HOD (English), Mrs. Janaki T.

The spirit of unity truly shone during our mass yoga demonstration, where all students, teachers, and parents joined together in practice. This unifying session was expertly guided by Mr. Sundar, our Yoga Master and HOD (P.E.).

To further empower our community, a dedicated Yoga Bootcamp was successfully organized for parents, teachers, and Heads of School. Participants actively learned foundational yoga asanas, meditation, and relaxation techniques. The bootcamp was collaboratively led by the expertise of Mr. Narasimman, our Martial Arts Coach, and Mr. Sundar, Yoga Master and HOD (P.E.).

The entire event was marked by enthusiastic participation and a wonderful shared spirit of health and wellness. We extend our deepest gratitude to all our students, parents, teachers, and staff who contributed to making this year’s International Day of Yoga a truly memorable and impactful success!
