Our Motto – ‘Knowledge is Priceless’ extols the virtues of right learning and constructive utilisation of that education. Adhyapanites are “Future Leaders in the Making”.
Our achievements and accolades of academic excellence within 11 years of the launch is an open testimonial to all. We provide a learning environment that is adaptable and flexible, facilitating potential changes in the higher education pattern. This is done with an objective to promote the skills and concepts required for college and career readiness in multiple disciplines and life in the global economy.

Art and Craft Education:
Art and Craft are important part of the Education process and aim to help students to develop creativity, gain delight, enjoyment and satisfaction through activities and pursue a lifelong interest in the arts. Students’ Art work is regularly published in local newspapers and in the newsletters of school. Several Prizes in various District, National and International Art Competitions have been won by our students.
Through Craft work students learn to act and think like designers and artists, working intelligently and creatively. This includes handwork from organic waste, thermocol work, etc. On special request from students wanting to enter the creative realm of Designing , the school has now included Commercial Art and Web Design as part of the options for Std XI.
Sports:
Regular P.E and Drill Activities are conducted at school. Yoga is compulsory for all pupils from Standard I. Volleyball, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Throwball, Basketball matches are regularly conducted. Cricket is as usual a passion for boys and girls. Inter-house Sports meet and Teachers vs Students matches in various games are the highlights of every year.
Sports Day preparation starts well in advance, with the sports teachers conducting all the initial rounds of the track and field events and matches. The highlight of this day is marked by the March past led by the School Captains,School Sports Captains and Captains of the four Houses each leading his/her team, as well as games for teachers and parents. The day ends with prize distribution ceremony. The school has had the privilege to host the Inter-schools Sahodaya Annual Basketball matches year after year.

Each subject week celebration provides an avenue for creativity and self-expression beyond school curriculum.

Interact Club:
The purpose of Interact is to provide opportunity for senior students to work together and connect with others in the community, to understand and empathize with social issues and undertake remarkable initiatives to address them as responsible global citizens. The members of the club carry out service projects with commitment and dedication while constructing their innate qualities of leadership and personal integrity. Over the past few years the Interact Club has some remarkable continuous and sustained projects like Adoption of a Special School (Neyam School),providing regularly lunch for inmates of Missionaries of Charity and Infrastructure provision for a Government School.
Generally the students of Std XI constitute the General Body of the Interact Club of Adhyapana School which functions under the umbrella of the most prestigious Rotary Club of Madurai West.
Field Trips:
Memories of school trips of the formative years remain deeply etched in the minds of the students as well as teachers. Taking students to a new place gives them the experience of traveling in a group and teaches them to be respectful of the locations they visit. All our journeys are well-planned keeping in mind the interests and the development of the students.Field trips are generally both educational and pleasure trips combined.
Olympiads and other National Level Competitions:
We aim to positively channelize the talents of our geniuses. For the past many years, Adhyapana has been successfully conducting the Olympiads in collaboration with Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF), NTC, Green Olympiad, Genius Search and Spellbee International. Our smart Adhyapanites have added feathers to our cap countless times by bagging various positions in the Olympiads and other national level competitions.
Atal Lab:
Adhyapana is one among the few select schools from all over India to receive a grant from the Government of India for establishing Atal Tinkering Laboratory under Niti Ayog’s Atal Innovation Mission. ATL is a workspace where the students get a chance to work with tools and equipment to understand the what, how and why aspects of STEM- Science, Technology, Engineering and Math.Thus Robotics,Artificial Intelligence and the like are all within reach of our students.
Talent Fest:
The Annual Talent Fest is a much -awaited day every year at school.Many talents are discovered on this day through drama, dance, songs, poem recitation and such more. As the name suggests, it is an opportunity for children to showcase their talents, whether it is acting, singing, dancing or recitation or other off-books platforms.
